Modding Jews

With the campaign i was working on i wanted to add the Jewish Khazar Khaganate and the Cathar Heretics. Now i was wondering, is it possible to mod a REL_JEWISH/REL_HERETIC and JEWISH_CULTURE/HERETIC_CULTURE?

because i really wanted to add the first Jewsih Faction and a Heretic Faction, but i wanted to know before i start

Note: The Jewish Khazar Kaganate wasn't a faction, neither the Cathar Heretics......

I know how to add new faction dont worry Edyz. And the Khganate was a Faction, although the Cathars were not, but they did controllands in southern france (provence)

I think it's possible, but I think you have to make some specific Jewish units, so it can look "Jewish" .....
I personally prefer the Pagans, because of their Shrines and Sacrificial Shrines.....

The Khazarians weren't Jewish..... They were Pagans....
And the Cathars were quickly eradicated by Crusades....

But hey, it's your mod!!! You do whatever you want!!!!

ye i do wonder how troops would look jewish, i mean there were no real jewish warriors (except Khazarians, of whch i have found no pics). And i swear the Khazars converted to judaeism. They were a turkic people wich were Pagans until the population converted to judaeism ( if you dont believe me sear for " Jewish Khazar" and youll find more then enough about them)

Every source i have read tells of their adoption to Jewish fate (for political reasons). There are alot of evidence from writings by muslim explorers/missionarys, and letters from Jews in other part of the worl (Spain) - And not a faction?? in the 9'th century, along with the Caliphate and East Romean Empire, they were considured one of the mightyest factions/empires of the time...

I know there are some Jews who don't don't like the idea, because they might be ancestors to the Khazars, and not the "Chosen pople of Isral".

Anyway, you live closer to their original land then me, and probably have more sources, please enlighten me ~:)

Anyway good luck with the mod, we have done alot of research on the era of the khazars and other factions, so if you need something, just ask...

well i put the Khazars in, but when i go on new campaign, i cant find my new campaign. This has only happened when there have been mistakes. I re-did the whole thing but still nothing. Does this have something to do with the REL_JEWISH JEWISH_CULTURE?

The Khazars were jewish, although a large part of the population was still muslim, christian or pagan.

The cathars were not a faction, but represented a real power in southern France. They weren't eliminated quickly.

It happened the same to me....
I wonder why.....

It also happenned when I unlocked Sahara.....Strange....
