What does a general's health have to do with anything? Does this make him die easier in battle? After having one of my princes killed, APPARENTLY by his FLEEING Turkman counterpart, I have begun to wonder about this. I think my guy might have had one or two vices that could have lowered his health.

All units have 'health' attacks do decimal damage to 'health.' 0 health = dead.

When people die stupidly by routing enemies etc. Just think of it as falling off the horse.

MTW, like DnD doesn't roll for Bullet Time.

So...

If you want something dead really fast, get 4 longbows to fire on the same target. That is guarenteed deathage.

During the Joan of Arc campaign I killed the general with a catapult volley before I breached the walls!! ~D ...What a waste!

P.S. The chivalric foot knight are a real pain in the :furious3: in this battle. I have huge casualties by them and I don't have a unit specialised to their slaughter.
Any suggestions? :help:

if i remember correctly each units have 1 hitpoint not health if u lose this hit point u die. the way i understand MTW there is no "damage" but the attack, defense, armour values are used to calculate if there is a sucsessfull hit or not. if it sucessful the soldier dies.

generals, princes and kings have more than 1 hitpoint so can take a higher number of hit before they die. some v&v's add to this or reduce this

You can hear the horses die when a general with more than one health gets hit, of course you can also hear the horses die when a dismounted knight gets killed.
