No, really, waht is your favorite?

Agreed. U2 suck.
In truth, they do have a few very good songs. I always liked Mysterious Ways.
I just hate Bono. I am sick to death of his sunglasses and holier than though attitude.
:rolleyes5: "Look, I have $400,000,000 and I just had a thought; poverty is bad!"

No, I think U2 are brilliant, and also he gave 4 MILLON pounds to charity and has been in Live aid and live 8, and the two band aids. So don't say U2 don't give to charity.
I'm sorry for diverting from the intent of your thread.
I also like the song The Fly. Kind of cool. Actually, that whole album is pretty good. (My Lord it hurt to say that.)

U2 are wank now but they used to be good. My favs would be either Bad, Sunday Bloody Sunday or Mysterious Ways.

Sunday Bloody Sunday, or One Love (or whatever it's called). I like U2, they were quite good when I saw them in concert a while ago.

Naw, it's just a shirt with a big Bob Marley and says "One Love". I don't think it's made out of hemp, however... ~;)
'dude, we're all out again'
'oh, man'
'hey, roll up that Marley tshirt'
'cool!'

I think you've hit upon a great new way of smuggling Ichi-wear it!
It sure beats putting it in a condom and swallowing it all hollow. Although I imagine it'd start to itch after a while. ~D

I like when they play solo....... solo I cant here them ~D
I don't have a favorite U2 song. Bono is just a bit of a self important CSARSF.
music wise they are average at best......it´s pop music...how good can it be really?..lool
but then the singer with those moronic holier than thou speeches just takes it over to the "hate" department.
...so....any song that i don´t listen by then makes me a happier man...
Not that I'm a U2 fan, but their best songs IMO:
1) New Year's Day - U2's best song.
2) Lemon.
3) One.

I like (and played back in the day) most of the stuff from War and Sunday Bloody Sunday, and especially, the entire Unforgettable Fire album. After that, they seemed to over indulge in their pop mega-stardom, and I just didn't like much that they did. An exception would be "One."
Being a musician, I pay attention to the music, and couldn't care less what they do with their lives. I'm interested in their art, not them.

Sunday Bloody Sunday was the first that came to my mind ... another one I quite liked was "The Wanderer" from the Zooropa album (but that was sung by Johnny Cash - so I'm not sure if that one counts ~;) )

Beautiful Day - its upbeat and fun.
On a side note, how embarrassing was Bono at Live8. His voice has clearly gone and it's about time he was put out to pasture. True they were a very good band in the past for a long time, though I would say they were more a sign of the times, rather than an innovative band at any stage. Nowadays they're a bit of a drag thanks to ol' Bono sounding like a choir-boy going through puberty too rapidly. If the rest of the band had any sense, they'd ditch him and get a new singer.
Oh and How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb was the worst album I ever didn't pay for.

Gloria? Like the Van Morrison song that the Doors did?
