Marshal Murat

I'm playing the First Triumvate mod for RTR. As Crassus, I have conquered Haftra, Seleukia, and Ecbana.
In Capua, I've just put down a rebellion and one is brewing in the next city down.
I have 2 turns to take a desert city with nothing south of it, save Seleukia.
I was planning to build a massive army in Capua, eleminate the Parthians, the Ptolemies, and consolidate my forces, and build up a fair amount of legions, and auxiliaries to range against the Senate in Asia Minor, Italy, and prepare to fight the Julii, and Pompeii.
I'm open to suggestions about what to do. Should I throw my goals away, hit the Senate in Asia Minor, and sail away from Italy, building my empire in the East? Or launch a desperate attempt to gain the city with a faction person and hire mercenaries on the way?
Or should I build a diplomat, use the move "Augustus" to 12 122 cheat?
