This relates to the right, I'll do the left later.
Bah, Pindar deserves the best debater by a mile. No offence to anyone else, but really, he is so far ahead of everyone else. 2nd goes to Xiahou, he may not post as reguarly as others, but he makes his points well, and is willing to defend them.
As for the rest, I'm making up my own categories.
Most respect is a tie between Don Corleone and Redleg, both make their points well, and while I may disagree with their point, it is rare that I disagree with how they made it. This is also refected in Redleg's Senior Member status, and if I had to nominate a further person it would be Don Corleone. The posts of both are enjoyable to read.
Gawain of Orkney gets a mention for his sheer bloodymindedness. You can't stop him, he may be abrasive at times, but you can't fault him for comitment, or his willingness to engage in a debate. He certainly adds to the fun of the forum, although I wouldn't want another of him around.
Bah, Pindar deserves the best debater by a mile.
Yep Pindar does an excellent job of debating - but then he better or they will revoke his license to be a shark.
Hurin does a decent job of attempting to counter Pindar's points.

For the right, the best debator is Pindar.
The people who make arguments I can understand and agree with the most have to be Don and Redleg.

PJ and Kaiser share the most bloody minded (no offense ~D )

I wanted to put red leg in but i couldn't think of an award that fitted him.
I use to think capo was blood thirsty but i dont think he is serious when he says that stuff.

Best debater - Pindar or Gawain
second best debater - God there are too many to say.. weve got a wealth of enlightened people. Redleg, Don, X(however you spell it), and Alex are all very intelligent.
best idealoligy - Gawain

most fanatical - Most conservatives on here besides me have formed their opinions based off of logical conclusions, so i dont know of anyone who is fanatical. I dont count Nav as a conservative.

Now you see, that's wierd, and somewhat of an Eye-Opener. Because I see alot of the Right Wingers that you listed as Fanatical, and I see alot of the Left-Wing Arguments as being logical. ~:handball:
I must say that the fellow in the China thread who was advocating what China did to Tibet gets the award for Most Violent, to be sure.
That's Lars, and TRUST ME, he's no conservative. He's pretty violent towards the right. I'm not sure where you'd place his views, but he's definitely NOT on the American Right.

We had this kind of thread before and I have no problem with having another one that praises the skill of debaters from the various camps.
However, I do not see the merit in giving awards for "most violent" or "most fanatical", even if you add a "no offense intended" to it.
This thread is closed as (intentional or not) I consider it to be an open invitation to slander other patrons.
Thanks for your understanding

P.S.: Feel free to start another one with less questionable categories
