European American.
UK, and German mainly. I can't give exact percents since I don't know enough about where the last names came from. But I know I've got a little Scottish, British and North German (Hamburg I think) in me.

Greatest to least percentage (I don't have exact figures): Scottish, Irish, English, Norwegian and a tiny dash of Bohemian.
Although I identify most with my Irish, partly because I was led to believe I was mostly Irish and partly because I favor Ireland over Scotland.
25% British
25% Norweigen
50% American (back to The Rock. Seriously.)
Add it all up and I'm 100% Canadian!

Europeans are all a bunch of mongrels too.
I guess I'm made up of the usual mix of Celtic, Roman and Germanic blood. But there's no way to retrieve percentages.
And I know of some Walloon(?), German, Gypsy and Dutch blood in the not too distant past.
I'm tall, blond and blue/green eyed.

But seriously, I'm half Greek, half Italian... now grovel you barbarians! ~;)
Ok, I confess! There's also a splash of French and English blood in me but uh... my family really doesn't like to talk about that...
:hide:
My biological family is all Scottish. My adoptive parents are Australian mutts.
Boringly pretty much all English with a slight touch of Irish and Welsh.
Eurotrash: Dane, Irish, Swedish, Norweigan, German, English, Dutch, and about <1% Cree. Basically comes out to 100% Chicagoan.

Therefore I am a Viking/Saxon/Angle/Jute/Norman/Roman.

Half english and half welsh with dashes of scottish and dutch and no doubt irish, norse and norman french.
I read somewhere that, interestingly, the majority of men in Britain, particularly in England and Wales were of Briton descent and that very few were infact Anglo-Saxon or Viking genetically (though this depended on location quite a bit). It said that the Anglo-Saxon invasion was very much more a cultural thing where a social elite moved over and imposed themselves and their culture on the native populace, much like the Norman invasions, but that there was no mass migration. If true this means that most English people are in fact Welsh ~D ~;)

100% Anglo-Saxon, hurrah.
(Actually my family are from Cornwall a long way back but I think we can safely say the Anglo saxon has diluted out the Celt by now)
Boringly pretty much all English with a slight touch of Irish and Welsh.
Boring? JAG you surprise me, i was SURE you would agree with Cecil Rhodes:
To be born English is to have won first prize in the lottery of life".
~;)
Alas, George Orwell may have diagnosed your disease:
"England is perhaps the only great country whose intellectuals are ashamed of their own nationality. In left-wing circles it is always felt that there is something slightly disgraceful in being an Englishman and that it is a duty to snigger at everything from horse racing to suet pudding. It is a strange fact, but it is unquestionably true that almost any English intellectual would feel more ashamed of standing to attention during God Save the King than of stealing from the poor box."
Still true today. Great man, Orwell.

75/100 french, 12,5/100 swiss, 12,5/100 Turk(but that part is rather hidden by some ashamed of it & I'm therefore not sure of it). My family name comes from the Swiss part.
Dâriûsh:
just wondering: what sort of Iranian?

From Fars. So that would be Persian.

Half English, a quarter Saxon (the cousins of the English basically) and a quarter Prussian. One of my ancestors through the Prussian side served in Blucher's staff at Waterloo.

1/8 Scottish, A crazy Scottish great-grandad claimed he was a descendent of Livingston, the one who got lost in Africa.
One of my uncles made a group of Germans believe he was the Prince of Galway, that he lived in a big house in Scotland and had a seat in the House of Lords, of course there is no Prince of Galway. He works in Albania, where most people believe he is a descendent of King Zog (not sure if that is the correct name), last king of Albania.
1/4 German.
All the rest English, possibly Norman, but there no way to tell.

*Note there is unfounded Stories of an American Indian Somewhere in the Family... I think like some of the others, people and government in England frowned on them.

Damn you, go brew me some beer and shoo! ~D
Let's see here... what was the figure? Ah yes.
75% Frankish. This amounts to 37.5% Batavian/Caninefatic (Dutch Germanic tribes who joined the Frankish confederation during the Great Migrations) and 37.5% French nobility from Tours or Toulouse (don't remember, must consult my uncle, who is well-versed in these matters... and retrieve my family weapon for engraving on a seal ring ~;)).
25% Ashkenazim. Ashkenazim are the Jews from the eastern European diaspora, and in this case the Tsherta in Poland-Lithuania. My Jewish great-great-grandfather came to Groningen from Poland on his cart. ~:)
All this amounts to... well, what, really? Born on Curaçao, raised by Dutch parents on Aruba, I'm more cosmopolitan than Dutch (which is not cosmopolitan at all, although Dutchmen are deluded and think so). But my heart is in Aruba.

English, Irish, Scottish, probably random foreign blood picked up during the family's empire -trotting days.
100% Norse as far as my genealogical line goes back.
There is a proposed allegation that I am 1/8th Swede, but that is plain hearsay. Whoever this Mr. Andersson was he surely angered that part of my family by popping in for a quickie and then leave never to be heard from again.
