hi...
has anyone seen the lor of the rings movie??
at the beginning there is a big battle between elves and orcs... in the elve's first row there are elve naginatas as i call them, behind them three rows of bows...
wow it looks so cool...i tried to play that situation in shogun...it works but not perfekt..is there a mod in production...i need it...

Yes the starting battle scene of LOTR was pretty good.
Although I would still rate the start of Gladiator as the best battle scene yet.
Its cool though that Total War lets us almost reenact those classical battles on our PC.

I just watched the epic 3 hour long film Atilla the Hun. It has some of the best fight scenes I have ever seen. (GOt Gladiator on video, ATH far surpasses it!!!)

I advise you guys to check it out ASAP.

The shear number of balistic weapons used in that opening scene in "gladiator" is definitely a blast to emulate in stw. I anticipate that medieval total war will get even closer to that battle scene.
