View Full Version : number codes for buildings?

The .txt files in the start positions folder have 1-2 digit numbers that correspond to buildings within the various provinces. I have been able to figure out a few buildings' corresponding numbers through trial and error. However, if somebody had the definitive list of what numbers translate to what buildings that would be fantastic. A list of what numbers correspond with the various provinces could also be helpful.

Also has anyone else come across the medical school buildings while experimenting with these files. If so are they functional and how are they used.

Thanks All!

Well, pick your poison. I could send you my original documents decoding these files, which may/may not be totally accurate in some cases, or you can go and download Hecose's Campaign Editor from the Org, which has all these numbers internalized and I think may also allow you to see which numbers are which but that doesn't necessarily matter as with the Campaign Editor you can with full functionality create and edit Full Campaigns.

Anyway, there you go.

Well, I got to agree with Khan7...
That's why we are a community, we help each other. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif Go and support Hecose's research by downloading and using his campaign editor... http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

I will repost about the /loc files right now...they're very useful to edit the campaign as much as possible.

Thanks for the help guys! I'm still learning of all the resources that are available. I'll definitely check out Hecose's Campaign Editor.

yep that editor about covers it. very nice. however the presence of those "medical school buildings" still have me perplexed. maybe the game designers just dropped the idea at the last second.

I guess they are not needed since there are other ways to replenish losses. Interesting idea though. Maybe they will turn up in M:TW.
