View Full Version : Alien general abuction
Hi, has anyone encountered something like this? In my current campaign (Carthage) a Parthian general, only 18 years of age, just "materialized" on the Senate's doorstep in Latium! Seeing his age, there's no way he could have travelled halfway the map to get there, so wtf? :dizzy2:

say...what? The last time I saw this complaint it was a SELEUCID general appearing in Rome.
But oh well. I guess all we can say is, it's amazing what some youngsters these days will do to get noticed... *shakes head*
Or, we could just say it's a bug.
Must be a some kind of Roman greencard. The easiet wat to get young unblooded General , though these kid decide to hold dual citizenship. .. maybe ...
Har.. har.. Har...

Could it be possible a diplomat bribed a young Roman general?
Nope, no Parthian diplomat in sight. Also, he had all the "ethnic characteristics" (he had a Parthian portrait).
But maybe he flew cheaply with Air Parthia (Rome now only D 29,95) to go on a lonely backpackers' holiday, even though I'm pretty sure Leonardo da Vinci International Airport is not on the map...

The exact same thing happened to me, only with a Seleucid general. It's really strange...

If i was the computer and this happened, i would go all around Italy hiring mercs, and then take Rome.
It`s a bug that occur when the city the general is supposed to spawn in is besieged, probably only when there`s already 20 units in it. Then he cannot just go right outside the town, so instead he takes a trip to Rome.
After all it is Rome: Total War we are playing.
This happened to one of my seleucid generals, those seleucids must be special :book:
The only things I saw were when playing on VH, that AI would often get exta generals from the thin air. They even had zero traits.
