For those who are interested in my attempt to put some life back into the community, thanks for reading guys......or gals ;-)

So far I have all the folders named etc, I have all the information for the battles in a big text file. Big Thanks going out to TosaInu for his help so far, it has been of great help to the project, the part on the triggers especially, now I hope to make the course of the battle as real to life as possible

For those who are wondering, for the first installment (More will follow if this gets a good reaction) you will play as the victors of the actual battle, and if no-one won, you will play as the team with the least chance of winning.

Of coarse, if those goes well, as I said, there will be another one, with more battles, including famous battles from China as they used relitively the same units, and maybe a Mongol Conquest battles etc

Of coarse I am open to any suggestion for the current one (i.e. More battles added, for reference look at the previous post containing a list)

This will be a very good update if the effort I get from others is the same as mine, my testers will be listened to, if they believe that something should be cut from the battle, added to it or changed, even if it means getting someone to create an indvidual map for each Battle

I will post updates every so often for those interested on the updates progress

You could re-enact some of the battles described in the Arquebusier saga.

The biggest challenge would be what to use as the horseman. You'd have to have a cavalry unit with only one man, and give it insane honor to simulate his battle skills. Like maybe a one-man honor 30 Heavy Cavalry...

If this proves unwieldly, you can always attempt the bridge battle from Episode III http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

Honour 30 Heavy Cav? That would be.....scary Vanya, very scary. Of coarse Vanya, I'd need help with the battles from your stories (You wrote them for god sakes!), remember my mail is samandshirley@splaxton.fsnet.co.uk

An h8 or h9 HCman would be fine for simulation purposes. This is my feeling from my own experience.
