What's your goal in life?!

When I mean goal, I mean what do you want to be when you grow up.(only for those who are under 18)

Just spoke with someone about this..

I would like to play professional basketball, but that isn't gonna happen.

So maybe Journalism? Or become a historian? I haven't really decided yet.

Don't give up...

Tim Duncan started at 14 years old basketball, so time is not waisted....

Hmmm yeah, I know. I have played for a year or so, but I don't have the height.

I'm not gonna give up, it's a great hobby, but, where I live, I don't have the facilities to play very often.

Apply for a job at CA....It's the only and the best solution....

@Craterus

I don't have the height either. In basketball, height doesn't count. The best examples: Earl Boykins and the best, Spud Webb.

That's a bit narrow. Most people who go to University either do not know what they be when they finish or end up doing something completely different to what they thought they wanted anyway. 21 would make more sense in that regard.
Even still, I have changed paths in life several times now. It was really inevitable given the choices I had made and events which just got thrust upon me. You have to keep dreaming all the way through, otherwise you'll just pick a job at 21 and work in it till you die/retire.

I am well aware that a lack of height isn't essential. I was replying to your comment about Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan could start at 14, because he already has an advantage (height) and this would make developing the skills needed for a forward easier.

Another good example of a short player that proves height isn't essential: Allen Iverson.

Still, Professional Basketball would be great, and I'll definitely keep it as a hobby, but becoming a pro is undecided.

Travelling the globe is also in the plans.

I wanna be either Emperor of the Free World or International Terrorist.

If I can't do that, I wouldn't mind working in the diplomacy, UN, EU, or in a eastern europe country (those where there are lots of chicks  )

Ha, don't get excited. We only play covers and, like I said, we don't even have a singer yet. We just want to play pubs and stuff, make a bit of cash.

It's a fabolous industry.

I don't want to join it, although many said to me that I have a good voice and I was selected in many choirs in my school.

But hey BKS, why don't you sing?!

I really want to be a pro soccer player. Or a pro backetball player. Or a pro football player. However I probably won't get past the college level in any of those. Soccer maybe I can make it. If those don't work out I will either be a sotfware developer, lawyer or historian.

Goal in life? Right now my only goal is to kill that fly which have been teasing me whole night. After that my life will be all pointless.

Honestly, I want to become a pro soccer coach, especially something to do with defense. But, I think I could settle for being a trainer.

I want to spend some time in the navy and maybe become a communication officer. I could imagine working with top secret stuff and intelligence.
I would want to take a masters degree in information technology and possibly work as a system developer in the oil business.
I want to marry a beautiful blond girl and become a father of two daughters that looks like their mum.

I'm impressed the number of people who want to start their adult lives by joining the forces.
It really is the best way to kick-start your life - except for having rich parents.

BP...I am with you all the way. Almost done with college (December) and then if I could retire...mmm...video games...

But I know that won't happen. Right now, I want to get a job in the food industry (I would love to walk through Dillons/Hy-Vee and I say 'I make that...and that...and that...) that pays the bills (and @*#$ student loans).

Eventually get married and then have kids. But no kids for a long time. I'm still to young and stupid to be a Dad.

I don't really have any major career goals. I just want to be a good husband, father and friend, and continue to develop myself in all possible ways.

But I would like to travel with someone...why does a year long honeymoon sound good?
