SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - A Texas man was arrested on Monday after calling police to complain about the theft of his marijuana, authorities said.

Stephen Knight, 17, said three men had broken into his apartment, hogtied him with Christmas lights and stole some marijuana, along with a plasma screen television, police said.

Police are looking for the suspects. In the meantime, they arrested Knight after finding several marijuana plants growing under heat lamps in the apartment, four grams of harvested marijuana and a tablet of ecstasy, Officer Chad Ripley said.

Knight said the men barged into his home early on Monday morning demanding, "Where's the weed?," according to San Antonio police.

LOL how stupid some people are - he should of cleaned up his apartment and only reported the TV.

You see crime doesnt pay. ~;) He shoulda cleaned up before he called the cops. Why do you think people rob drug dealers? .......... Because they cant call the cops.

That having been said I think the poor guy suffered enough and the cops shoulda just told him clean up your act were wise to you. This may have to be moved to the backroom.

It sorts of reminds me of the story of the lady who called the police because she thought that the cocaine she had bought from a dealer was baking powder and wanted to complain. The police turned up, tested it, and it turned out to be the real thing. The woman was promptly arrested for drug possession.

Why do you think people rob drug dealers?
This guy doesn't sound like a drug dealer. More like a small time grower.

People don't rob drug dealers because they tend to very dangerous people with lots of money and contacts in the right places.

The question wasnt why dont they but why do they. Beleive me drug dealers get ripped off everyday. Im speaking from past experience.
