(Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Strategy Game, or something like that)

Since I've been playing this game for ages, I thought I could do some advertising. So here I am.

First, have a look at the FAQ (http://www.dragonclawstudio.com/faith/upgrade/whatisfaith.html)

Basically, Faith is a game played with your internet browser. It works with IE, and possibly with Mozzilla.
When you create an account, you have to choose a class (classes include Wizard, War Master, Rogue, Merchant, Jack of all trade), a religion (Rift, Trinity, Genesis, basically the Good, the Bad and the Neutral) and a church (there are 3 churches/religion).
Depending of your choices, you'll get different abilities, different units, different quests, etc.

Now, you're probably thinking "Well, this must be another boring browser based game" or "it looks like another clone of Utopia".
But you're wrong. Faith is a very exciting game, for 3 main reasons :

1 - It is a real time game. It means that building something might take one day. Attacking someone else takes usually 24 hours. Although it might seems kinda slow at first, there are way to achieve those things faster (spells, items, technologies) and you often end up spending hours playing because there's always something to do.

2 - Faith heavily relies on players cooperation and team-playing. Basically, that means that each player plays in a kingdom of 15 people. To be fully effective, a War master will need the help of a wizard/rogue, and to be trully effective, a wizard will need the help of a merchant.

3 - Then, unlike some other games where top players join the same kingdom and rule the game untill its end, a Faith game (Era) lasts ~3 Months. At the end of the game, the best kingdom receive some random price. If you can't win this time, you may recruit some experienced players and create a good kingdom for the next Era.

Furthermore, Faith includes some nice hand made drawings (avatars, maps, etc.) and offers an interactive quest system, aswell as a basic Role Play system (your character earn XP and get better with the time).

But nothing is perfect, and Faith is no exception. If you want to win, or even to be a decent player, you'll have to spend *A LOT* of time playing. You might have to join an IRC server to chat with your kingdom mates, and wake up at 3 am to cast a spell/launch an attack. For some people, it's what makes the game attractive, for some other, it's a pain in the a**.
Of course, the game isn't free. Although there's a free trial option, you'll have to pay 10 bucks/era, if you want to really enjoy the game, and 20$ if you want to have all the nasty feature that annoy your opponent. I wouldn't mind that if the game was really balanced (and this was not the case last time I played).

Caution ! The Faith storyline coutains 'violent content with mild sexual themes' that some religious people (did I say 'biggot' ~D ) might dislike.
