But we need that someone will contact me with ICQ so it can be uploaded on this site ,
the Zip is 8.70 mb and i can send only emails of 2.5 ....

This mod will allow you to play a new scenario based on the Genpei War

Ive changed text files , Province images , and icons all around the game
the only unchanged ( important ) thing are the Clan crests in the daimyo selectio
menu , simply they were too big , i would have lost hours tryng to change them

Ive added two little .mpgs for you pleasure ... epecially the end one ...

Multiplayer games are still fully playable , the only problem is that you cant see a preview
of the map you are going to play ( if a classic one ) but any epert player know them just by the name

Remember that you game last as the life of your daimyo ... so dont waste time tryng to 'build'a Geisha ...

Very nice, does it has an back-up/rollback? People should be able to restore the original files.

It's quite inconvenient that the Php scripts still don't work.

Yes unfortunatly it cant be removed ,
if you want to go back to the old graphic ( not that you need it for pratical reasons cos the game remain exaclty the same !! )
you have to reinstall the game ( anyway you will not loose things you have downloaded from the net like maps )
the only change will be in multiplayer the inability to preview classic maps but i think they are laready well know ( and ive always saw 3 maps played in multiplayer !! )
I think that tryng this mod will make everyone understand that bigger mods can be done

It replaces textfiles and such. I think it should at least mention which files get replaced so that one can make a manual backup (reinstalling the game to restore 4 mb or less, seems rigorous).

OK i agree , ive added a ZIP file that contains all the Original files to restore the game ( except of course the 2 mpgs and the province images ) as normal , now the whole thing is about 9,3 mb .

I've downloaded it but dont plan on installing it..yet...

what does it do ?
I'm not familiar with the "genpei" whatever that is...

what are the changes exactly to the units+maps ?

No changes in units and maps you you can continue to play online without any problem ,
it add a new campaign with alot of new graphic .

Think of it as the ultimate Camapaign..........but a poor MOD http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif only kidding Frantz, it's a great peice of work you did their an it does what it's meant to very well.
