Imagine. Being trapped with your wife and kids and assasins will kill you. If you leave your wife, you can escape, but the wife and kids will die. Stay with them, you'll die together. what would you choose? I think a lot will be running away.........~D

stay. I couldnt live with the guilt of leaving my family. Although im to young to mary and obviously dont have kids, you get the picture.

Well, I don't want kids, so just sig other.
Unless I royally screw up my life(marrying some who I don't care enough about to die for), stay and die perferably fighting. If she doesn't live(likely) then I hope she does the same. at least, this is what I would hope I do.

i'd run for two simple reasons
A: i'd have no kids
B: and i would only marry out of convienience, and probably to some bitch i hate.

You could always try the trick:
"Hey, that's a cool gun. Mind if I have a look?"
[Assassin allows you to hold the gun]
[You smack first assassin with butt of gun, shoot others]
[First assassin, knocked out on floor, is reported to the police for a long long sentence in prison]
Then you can take your family to local pub for a drink to celebrate a good days work. ~:cheers:
And there you have it, the easy solution if you're family is captured by assassins.. ~:cheers:

you might not be able to kill him but I've played Tekken 2-4 seen all the Jackie-chan movies and I've got cool matrix style sunglasses!

If you have a good shotgun(preferably a Browning machine gun) and you shoot every where then they are dog-food. Or use a hoplite or a lance. ~D

I have already had a good life and my newborn son is sleeping on my chest while I type. No way could I live with myself by running, I have already cheated cancer so I am on a second life already as far as I am concerned.
I would let my extended family deal with the forgiveness or revenge.

We have two shotguns here, I could grab those and load them up with some puny grouse shot that my dad has!
If I had a wife though I would live on my own and probably not have a gun, so a kitchen knife would have to suffice.
Anyway you can always fight back, even when trapped you can still run through a hail of bullets and perhaps knock one down.

A man from Iraq was taken hostage with his uncle, wife, and children by some Saddam thugs. He was told that he would be allowed to leave in order to achieve some demand of theirs (I don't remember what). Before he left, he was brutally tortured. He was told that if he returned, they would all be set free. But if he did not come back, his family would die.
His uncle told him to never return because then they would all die. He knew his uncle was right. And both knew that the uncle, his wife, and kids were all dead either way.
He did not return. His story was in an American Magazine a few years ago.
