Yes it's that time of year again. The bank holiday of august 1st here in Canada. A day off that exists for the sole purpose of having a day in August.

Now one for Canandians what is this holiday clled in your province? Here in NS it's called Natal day, in New Brunswick it's called New Brunswick day. So what is it called in the other 8 provinces?

A little moderation with the smileys please. Unless the occasion truly merits it.

You shouldn't have said that, Beirut.

You have a civic responsibility(assistant moderator) and you live in Canada!!!! So, it's you who should be using tons of smileys!!!

August the 1st is also YORKSHIRE DAY.

So fellow Yorkshiremen, join me in downing a good brew and laughing at the softie Southerners and their inability to build proper railways. ~
