Only the most insignificant of political parties, our very own DNC (isn't it ironic that the abreviation for the Democratic National Party is also a medical procedure to remove a baby from a woman's uterus, but I degress) has attacked Bush on his good health...

Next the DNC will have some good "yo momma" put-downs for the CINC's mother. Has the democratic party always been this petty?

Good lord. Critisizing him for being in good health while cutting funding for pe? He is healthy without funding. It doesn't cost loads of money to keep fit. You can run for free, jump rope for $5 and lift weights for $80.

I don't really see the point of title ix.

The procedure you are talking about is called a D and C (short for dilatation and curettage), not a DNC.

Sorry, but since you were complaining about "pettiness" I felt that it was appropriate to point this out to you. If you're going to be petty, at least be petty correctly...

I quite enjoyed my time in the workers' paradise, PJ, thank you for asking. ~

Seriously though, I do feel a bit sorry for you Yanks not being allowed to go there. You get much more bang for your buck compared to Mexico or some of the other Caribbean holiday spots. The resorts are beautiful, the beaches are spectacular, and the mojitos are delicious. Not to mention it's rumored that the cigars are rolled between the thighs of thirteen year-old virgins. Apparently, that's why Newfoundland is unable to produce fine cigars: lack of qualified rollers...

(Sorry to any Newfies who happen to read this, I just couldn't resist that one...)

A recital for the virtues of exploitation of the third world? Not to mention the pedophilia undertones... ~;)

But seriously, I think we all know what you meant and how you meant it. Friend of mine (a Cubano) goes every other year. He likes to rail (s/p?) on about what Castro's done to his island, but I notice he goes just the same, even when he doesn't bring care-packages to relatives. Must be something that brings him back.

Oh yeah, the thread...

Look, it's pretty plain that the opposition be it domestic or foreign are looking for any excuse to criticize Bush, his policies, his beliefs, his health... It makes them seem petty and desparite, they lose credibilty. I applaud them for their tireless efforts, and look forward to many years of dominance by the Republican party in the US.

That said, I thought the Republicans behaved the same during Clinton's admin. So what do I know about foreseeing the future of politcs in America? ~
