This is a beta version as of right now and will later support all three.

You may wish to try the 3.xx version of the MedMod until the 4.xx is thru the testing stage, as Wes is apt to upload a *new* .xx version every day for the next two months until he feels he's got it just right. ;)))

Try it, by the time you've exhausted 3.xx, 4.xx will be fully ready. There are significant differences between the two, so 4.xx s/b sufficiently different and challenge enhancing as to provide months of additional play.

Enjoy!

To add to this question. Where is a good site where all the MedMod Links/DLs are in the same spot?

BTW: Shogun is a great book!

This is Wes' site: http://wes.apolyton.net/

but looking at it, I see he's taken down links to the 3.xx version(s). I believe v3.14 was the latest prior to 4.xx. Unfortunately, its not there.

Oh well, I just thought it would be cool to experience what preceeded 4.xx.

Remember to read and follow the install instructions carefully.

Yes, all of Clavell's books are great! Tai Pan is another *epic* novel based upon Hong Kong and one of the major British Trading Houses (at the moment I can't recall the actual firm its modeled after).

A LOT of people here, at the Org, prefer Musashi, as Shogun, apparenlty has a number historical discrepencies. Shogun served to hook me on Japanese culture, it does a wonderful job at introducing the culture to the uninitiated.

Thank you for the link.

I'm almost done Shogun and I would have to agree with you and say that it has hooked me on Japanese culture. At first it was hard to grasp how they thought about death but it you think about it, its actually very brave.

I heard that! ~

Btw, I should have a new update at the start of the week which should virtually be the public release version.

Version 3.14 is still available here in the downloads section. I don't recall if it's in the Campaigns or mods section.

Just press the pic in my sig to go to my webpage.

Hi,

Glad to see ya.

Hoorah, Found the link!

3.14 is a masterpiece and sufficiently different than 4.xx as to provide a separate challenge, as well as, I believe, a progressive step toward 4.xx.

Gotta admit, 4.xx is going to be a shock for new players with mostly RTW experience, and just a bit of Vanilla MTW play. Particularly, for those a little less interested in the historic. The more familiar names and provinces of 3.14 might make for a generally better transition to the MedMod, afterwhich they could then move up to 4.xx.

If bandwidth is an issue, then perhaps just a link to the Org's Download page *link* might be a good solution.

If need be I could look into the Web space my ISP provides which I do not use.

TS.

P.S., I can't wait til 4.xx is complete with an Early era!!!! It's gonna be interesting. Gotta clear a weekend. First, I want to re-visit 3.14 to refresh myself and have a base for comparison as to the improvements and enhancements you've made to the MedMod.

For anyone interested here's the download link (1.2 MB):
