I have decided that I am going to hang up the… Spam Sword. I will (try) not to SPAM anymore. The reason I will no longer SPAM is because I have to impress Tosainu so I could get my account unlocked. If I do SPAM please let me know and I will do my best to correct it.

One thing that any member can do is go into their User CP (upper left hand corner of the page) and look for the buddy/ignore function. We can all add members to our ignore list. Its a wonderful thing.

Sorry if it has been answered before, but what exactly does putting someone on your ignore list do? While we're on the topic, what does buddy list do, also?

Try it, its easy to add or remove someone from ignore. Basically you can see that they've posted, but the contents of the post re not shown. Kinda like when a post gets deleted by a mod.

Beats me what the buddy list does. Guess I'll have to make a buddy and try it.

Ignore also blocks PM.

Buddy doesn't do that much, by default. In the quick links menu there's the option show buddy list. You can determine with one look who's online and who not. There are also toggle boxes so you can PM all at one (given your acount type can handle it).
Buddies are marked with a cross in the normal online list.

The buddy list also acts as addressbook in your PM panel. I personally like that option very much (thanks to the author of the hack).

You can determine with one look who's online and who not.Will it show you people who are using invisible mode, if they are on your list?
