View Full Version : Marius reforms
Can anyone tell me how i can make the marius event fires at its historicall date (107) instead of over hundred years earlier???
In my opinion it is boring marching around with legions and proatorian cavallary after 50 years...

More accurately, don't build an Imperial Palace in Italy, and try to stop the others from doing so. (How, I don't know, but find a way. Bribe them all away or something, or just set off the civil war and overrun them)
Italy being the Roman starting provinces plus the rest of Sicily and the Galllic provinces (Patavium and Mediolanium) and Segesta. I found this out cause I changed the recruitment line of first cohorts from hidden_resource Rome to hidden_resource italy.

So it means the first Imperial palace built on Italian territory triggers the reform, not the first one built by the player. That was somewhat vague in the past, thanks for clarification.
