MTW campaign game automatically exits into windows!!!

I was playing MTW and during the year 1345, the campaign game suddenly exits into windows. Does it have to do with virtual memory? Hard disk memory? I closed emule and delted about 1.2 GB of stuff and played again. The campaign exited into windows automatically in the year 1345 - again.

Anyone knows what is going on?

The only thing I can think of is that, um, I dunno - try downgrading your nVidia drivers like I did or reinstall MTW.

If you do a quick save just before a battle it can corrupt the savegame. I trust only saves I made while on the campaign map.

Check the apothecary, but here are some suggestions.

1. it may be a corrupt save file, or
2. Changed date in early, high, or late.txt file
3. download an older video driver
4. make sure all updates for the game are installed (buy VI if you don't have it)
