I think that the concept is good, but they won't be of much use in the game. I mean, if they are worst than pesants...

that coupled with the fact that the face looks like that of a asian gorrilla...

How can you tell that they are worse than peasants? You can't see their stats on the unit profile page. Are they in the demo?

No, i'm just assuming that they will be worse than pesants because it says that pesants look down on them. But the more that I think about it, the pesants probably just looked down upon them from a social standpoint. My guess is that they will be better at fighting than pesants, but either won't be good at keeping public order, or have low morale (or very high since it is do or die for them) or something along those lines that diminishes their value in the game.

How odd it says Goth Spearmen for me too now! However, these aren't the ones in the BI demo. Note how it says they have a shield, yet they don't. Not sure what CA are up to! ~:confused:

Perhaps said Viking is historically challenged and thinks that a majority of historical slaves were of central and southern african descent? Not so in the Roman world of course but...
