it's very basic at the moment,
with my usual choice of trying to keep all pages small for dial-up users,

So far the site holds a couple of library topics and images of the Clans Shields, any input welcome

also a Portal has been added as the frontpage of our websites
simple to use, any previous link to a doragon site shold take you straight to the Portal,
This is simply because of the variety of websites we now have, and 3 of them are hosted on the same server, so to make it easier for everyone, including myself, I created a Portal.

and thank you for spotting that little bug for me

I moved pages to new folders after testing,
and for some reason the server is still sending the 'old' page,

so i have done a quickfix until the server actually serves the 'new' mods page !

so all should download properly now, and when the server actually gets around to serving the new page they'll still work!

barocca I downloaded the spanish mod but when i run it , it just goes to the end battle screen and then the game quits?

About the Spanish MOD. I also got the same problem after downloading it ... I am checking the files adn trying to find where the problem is

The battle worked for me, I assume you mean Shadeswolf's one.

Massive number of men though and unplayable really as it slows machine too much.

Got a message at end saying 'wait until this conflict is resolved' and had to quit out.

I'll have a go at it now and see if i can spot it,

i have not had time to play them all,


but then even the ones I made myself i was only following instructions posted here...

(and, as soon as the server starts to dish up the changes we made today, there are a few more up there,
and some notes on how they were made...)

i reinstalled to make the backup files and now i have to start all over again...

can anyone tell me which file i need to edit to make MTW think i've already played through all the tutorials?

Hi guys, this is an interesting one.

I have a P4 - 1.8ghz and 512MB of Ram.
The mod works fine on my PC. Very little lag.

This is the only mod I have done -
1. You need to copy the Textures\Backdrops\River_costal\V_sunny\Winter directory into Textures\Backdrops\Plains\V_sunny\Winter

I've created a mod to it, removed some units and reduced the unit size, try this out and let me know if it works..... http://www.members.aol.com/ihusselbee/jaffa.zip

All the mods I have tested lags for me. Here is my computer:
P4
1.5 ghz
256 ram
geforce 2 MX 64 mb

I have uploaded shadeswolf's updated version to the site,
i am halfway through the tute's,

I have half an idea which file controls your progress, but only half,
If i find it i may host that file at the site as well, so new players don't have to work through all the tutorials...
(i only have limited time to play the tutes...)


and just in case i AGAIN do something as dumb as complete re-install over the top and lose my right to fight at Jaffa...

I extracted all the files from the zip and it worked, apart from that last error at end when there was no one else left to fight.

Didn't have to do anything else.

Shadeswolf, you don't get any lag?
Maybe i'll try chaging some graphic settings within game, as I upped everything to max when I first played demo.

ok,
figured out the file that contols your progress through the tutes, it looks like a binary, so i'm not going to edit it, just upload a copy to Doragon's Medieval.

Clan Doragon's Medieval website has

11 mod battles for the demo,
5 of them simply me following instructions posted in this forum, but i thought i'd chuck 'em up on the web for those souls who don't want to fuss with editing,
(if i've mucked something up tell me!)

backup files of all the original adf/bdf files for tutorials and Jaffa,
just in case you overwrite your originals,

a copy of my cfg file, so you don't have to play through all the tute's if you do a fresh install - it works for me!

a zipfile with various misc notes from this forum (modders notes)

Naturally if you want to create a mod of any type Clan Doragon will be happy to host it.

oh yeah, there's some historical notes, on hastings, agincourt and so on up there too..

Hi guys

With reference to lag.....

If I turn my machine on, serf for a while and do few things, then play the demo, they lag very bad.....

If I turn my PC on, close all programme running in the background, ie virus software, firewall, Realplayer etc - I get no lag, and they play fine.
