What languages(apart from your mother tongue) do you speak?!

I know very well English, a bit of French and German, and Japanese.

Hmm, since the question is what foregin languages do you speak I have to say none. I speak english (first langauge) and french (passably) they are the offical languages of my nation.

German and English, I abandoned Latin in school and successfully prevented my dad from teaching me Dutch whenever he tried to. ~D
I never really learned any grammar in both languages I know, I usually got to have a feeling for a language to learn it(which was probably one of my problems with Latin, that feeling wasn´t really developing).

Save the awful accent I can read, write, speak and understand English very well. Studied German for three years but never perfected it. Although all isn't lost, I can't speak or write it fluently.

I've had affairs with Arabic, Kurdish and Greek. Can read/write the Greek alphabet and read most of Cyrillic.

Only under one certain condition, which shall remain untold, may I get interested in studying some French.

Sad, but true. The main problem is that we have no one to practice with. And unless you are exposed regularly to a different language, you will forget it (or revert to a horrible accent). If I had taken Spanish, I could watch soccer, game shows, and novellas on Telemundo to stay sharp. I still watch, but I just can't understand a word that's being said. Adds to the fun, really. ~D

I am quite fluent in english and speak fairly good swedish, even though I forget words every now and then. I speak passable french, but it's deteriorating due to lack of practice. I took two years of japanese at the university, so I'm down with grammar and all, but my vocabulary is woefully inadequate.

I know some words and sentences in german, italian and spanish, and could conceivably communicate in those languages in certain situations.

(My native tongue, finnnish, isn't a foreign language, so it doesn't count)
