View Full Version : DDS and Photoshop CS
Maybe I´m making some terrible mistake, but I seem to be unable to open the tga.dds files with my Photoshop CS. And yes, I do have the dds utilities from the nvidia page, everything with dds in the name, as a matter of fact, but it still won´t work. For now, I´m using a program called DTXBmp or something like that, but that´s horribly impractical as I can only have one file opened with it.
This is horribly frustrating :wall:
Are you getting the optiopn to open them, or are you getting an error message?
When I try to open them via file->open I get an error message, ditto if I rightclick on one and choose "open with Photoshop". I can handle it, using DTXbmp or ddsConverter, but it´s still a nuicance.
And you don´t by accident know why skins don´t show in gmax 1.2? They´re unpacked, and I´ve tried and converted them into all sorts of formats, bmp, tga, jpg, psd, whatever, they won´t show. I know I can´t use gmax- modded units in Rome as they are, but when (if) I finally get some done maybe someone who has 3ds max might be kind enough to convert them to .cas.
