A little while ago I started a thread asking if anyone did any kind of military modelling and I got a lot of feedback.

I thought Id start a gallery for the modellers of the org to show their work, so get your camera and show us your models. ~:)

Heres some of my stuff.

Impressive Panzer. I would have left them in pieces.

Most Impressive. The tanks are awesome.

For the model men:
Just need a bit of dry brushing then inking on the hair so they don't look so glossy. For the ones that still have bases, build up the bases flock them or use sand then paint or base them on small pieces of rocks (flint, granite etc).

great PJ, nice work. ~

I have a ton of those plastic bunkers/hideouts/dugouts whatever they are called ~:)

I really like the setup of the man painting the cross. It looks so silly (a painted figure painting a model tank) yet so obvious. It is perfect.

Some of these are real, some what-ifs ~;)

Nice work everyone.

@ PanzerJager, is one of those tanks by any chance a King Tiger?

Thanks for the compliments! Your aeroplanes are great Suribachi, ive never been good at planes, especially canopies.

Yea Pap, I hate doing the figures, but they make the tanks look that much better. Ive thought about developing the bases, but not try brushing on figures.. ill give it a try. ~

Yea, guess which one. (Same scale ~ )

Nice work PJ. You get bonus accolades from me for a very creative use of the box artwork/labeling on the display shelves...which on their own are very nice!

Mount Suribachi
08-16-2005, 18:41
Yeah, I like the box tops on the shelves, neat touch ~:)

PanzerJaeger

Some people buy the kits just for the box artwork.. its crazy.

Some nice models there. It makes me want to go and paint my models now. I doubt that my HMS Hood will come out to the standards of your Bismarck, especially since mine is missing a few life boats, an I didn't paint it before putting it together...

Do you have a panzer 8?

PanzerJaeger
08-17-2005, 00:38
A mouse? Nah, it would be a great springboard for a creative paint design though... all that flat space. ~;)

Kraxis

Those shelves actually look like part of a store. It is that much. Crazy I tell you... CRAZY! ~D

Btw, wouldn't it have been Panzer VII for the Maus? The Pz VIII would have been the Löwe or the upgraded Maus.

PanzerJaeger
08-17-2005, 19:52
I believe the proposal for the Lion came first, but was dropped. So the Mouse got the VIII designation as it was proposed after the Lion.
