Hard Drive is Dead

Well, it finally happened. My hard drive died. Of course, I didn't have a thing backed up. I hope to redo TWO! MODS I had completed...in a few days.

if you backup your data regularly your hard drive will never fail,
if you decide to skip a regular backup your drive WILL fail

anjin-san,

you ..may.. be able to recover the data off the drive, even if it's dead. we shld prolly move to the tech forum for this, but tell me EXACTLY what is going on that isnt right and what isnt going on that shld be. be VERY specific. start a new post in the tech forum. i've recovered data off 'dead' drives before. no guarantees here...just a maybe.
