Appearance of British tribes people

I'm working on a mod based in Britain just before the Roman Invasion. The tribes will be split into groups:

Caledonian Tribes
Irish Tribes
Manx Tribes
Welsh Tribes
Southern English Tribes

Could someone tell me generally how the people in these groups differed in appearance, as in hair style etc. I wanted to stick to the RTW System of giving each Barbarian Faction its own hair stile, eg. Gauls with long Ginger hair and Germans with short blonde hair. Any help at all would be great.

The Southern "English" Tribes genrally had their short and limed into spikes. As for the others, I do not know.

I think that pretty much all the Britions did use to lime their hair into spikes. Not to forget about the woad paintings.

Maybe have different colours on the spikes?

I think you will find some infos by reading Cesar 'De Bello Gallico' and Tacitus 'Vita Agricola'. Agricola was the roman general who conquest Britain. I got this one, I will try to find some infos for you.

I have read Ceaser's books about the Gallic War, even if it was some time ago.

Anyway I don't think he mentions anything save that the Britions painted themselves and that they limed their hair.
