i used eps. richards tutorial and that helped,but so much is still hard to figure out.im trying to make archers available to the britons,and the archery range says i can produce them,but they arent on the unit prod. que.
i need like stepping stones to help me through it;not good with computers.

Have you actually made a set of Briton archers correctly?

The tutorial covers pretty much everything, and should work, provided ALL the steps are followed EXACTLY.

Check your British archers actually show up in a custom battle, and are selectable if you are fighting for or against the Britons.

This will confirm if the unit itself has been done correctly.

If it doesn't show up, check carefully that you have changed the faction bits in the unit stats. This will determine what units are available to what faction.
Since the game isn't crashing, there is nothing badly amiss...

It might help to post back the actual sections of text you have added to the text files...then we should be able to spot where you went wrong.

well i know it hasnt been done correctly because i cant see them or use them.
i think the problem is occurring in the UI i made for the unit cards

I replied to your PM, but it sounds like either
a) you haven't added the export_descr_unit entry for them or haven't put britons in the ownership line
b) you haven't added a recruit line for them in export_descr_buildings for all the buildings you want to recruit them from

Check to make sure you've followed Step One and Step Five in the guide properly.

And use show_err (link in signature).
