Ever since I've upgraded to VI from plain old Medieval I've noticed that the Polish seem to fair much better than before. In conquest mode, I really don't care who performs well, but in GA mode it becomes quite annoying when playing against the super Polish seeing as they get a point for every single territory they conquer. They seem to create a decent sizeed empire every single game unless I play someone who can eliminate them early on, such as the Germans or Hungarians. Does anyone else have to deal with the Polish just about every time? Can anyone suggest a method of modifying the game so that the Polish are less of a threat?

The Poles typically expand Eastwards, into Kiev and beyond. Just wait for the Golden Horde, aka the great equalizers. Besides, you can always build up & take enough of their conquests back that you're out in front again. Who are you playing as? Playing a crusading Catholic faction & making Palestine & any other crusade is typically enough to blow any body else out of the water.
The poles tend to leave all their eastern provinces badly garrisoned, so just build a hardcore army, break through their western armies, and burn your way through Russia every now and again, that should keep them in check!
