Random CTD on the campaign map

I already had this problem a while ago, and didn't find a way to solve it. Now, I'm making regions for the age of vikings and fanatics mod, and I once again face random CTD when scrolling over the campaign map.

On map #1, nothing special happens. I can scroll wherever I want without trouble.
But if I add a new province in southern france (map #2) and scroll over Calais, it does CTD. If I delete the new region, and create another one anywhere near France (British isles, Spain or Germany), it will also CTD when I'll scroll over a random region in France.

What could be the problem here ? I'm totally lost, since if there's something buggy, it should CTD with map #1 :dizzy2:

I had no problem when I created new provinces in Danemark or in Turkey, it only happens when the new province is placed not far away from France, and the CTD's only happen when I scroll over France.

Anyone already experienced that and found a way to fix the problem (if it may be solved) ?

Unfortunately... no idea. ~:confused:
All my problems with CTD are not related to scrolling over the map. They come from end of turn or simply before map loading.

Sadly, it's not a culture problem, or it would CTD before I add the province. Furthermore, it doesn't ctd when I scroll over the new province, but when I scroll over a previously working one...

I had the same happening when the settlement was of a faction (descr_regions.txt) not present in descr_strat.

For example:

If I add this province:

Britannia_Inferior
Eburacum
britons
Brigantes
232 41 198
lead, dogs, pigs
5
5

But if the britons are not present in descr_strat then the game will CTD when scrolling over the settlement.

Edit: you said it CTDs when scrolling over a random settlement... now that is odd...

Even more weird, the problem disapear when I add other settlements.

I had the same problem while adding provinces in the middle east, so I started to create new regions in Russia, and now the middle east is working ~:confused:

The problem is solved, but I don't know why and how.

My guess would be that the game is bugged when there are less than a given amount of provinces, but it sounds weird, since I've seen some campaigns with only 4 or 5 provinces working.
