Have any of you seen or heard these girls?

I just watched a concert by them on PBS. Yes I sometimes watch PBS I admit it. ~;) These girls blew me away. Such beautiful voices and the music was incredibe . All the Celtic drums and harps and flutes. I plan on going to see them in two months now in Carnegie Hall after this. Anybody else like this sort of music?

Is this like Enya's music?

I can't understand one word that chick sings and I don't want to. It's just so gorgeous and flighty and mysterious I prefer hearing what I think I'm hearing instead of what I should be hearing.

Dream music.

And with that... bon soir.

Yeah and Sarah Mc Calghlin. Some of it though is very stiring with all the drums and the like as I said. Others stuff you just float away on. They did an amazing accapelo version of theres a place for us from westside story. Some great fiddling also here.

If you like this sort of thing, and you haven't already heard of them, you would probably also like the Corrs. Slightly more poppy but you've still got the fiddles etc going on.

As a bonus they are also pretty easy on the eye.

Lol.

On one hand he is very lucky being in the same band as those gorgeous girls, on the other, they're his sisters, oh cruel fate :dizzy2:

Cheeky. Funnily enough I have never spent that long looking at him with the lovely Andrea et al to look at instead. Mind you compared to the lads in, say, Hammerfall...

Reminds me of Ali G interviewing that Unionist bloke in Northern ireland

"so, would you marry a catholic girl"

"No, my religion would forbid it"

"What if it was one of those birds in the Corrs, cos they is fit?

"No, my religion would forbid it"

"What if it was all three of them?"

"No, my religion would certainly forbid that"

[pause]

"so you is serious about this religion, then?"

I am actually quite fond of Clannad, Enya and especially Loreena McKennitt (hope she will do another album - the last one was ages ago).

I will definitely give "Celtic Woman" a try ~:)
