Would Martin's Game of Thrones world be good for a mod?

I just began rereading the Game of Thrones books by George R. R. Martin in preparation for the next book coming out in November, and I realized that the Western Isles in those books would make an ideal setting for MTW:VI modding. You have various competing noble families with their provinces, a raiding group in the form of the men of the Iron Isles, competing religions, the whole mix.

Is this a novel (pun intended) idea or has it been discussed elsewhere in a thread I managed to miss?

Yeah, it would rock on. That's why someone is making a such a mod for RTW (though I haven't heard news from it lastly)

I'm doing the same thing, Aenlic. Can't wait for the 4th book. I would definately be all over a mod for MTW. Too bad I don't play RTW :no:.
