View Full Version : what music instruments do you play? (...right now?:p)
like the titles says...
I play the guitar (electric/classic/lil' bit of bass) and I try to drum a bit too.
I play tabs but I also play classical music from books.
So what about you?

I play aucostic guitar. And I have a harmonica, though I'm no good.

And what kind of music do you play with it, Bob Dylan style?
I usually play Roch-hard rock (lots of nirvana cause it's so easy)
I'm also thinking of playing harmonica, my grandfather played it but he died not so long ago.

Piano rather well (mainly jazzy stuff, improvisations), guitar and bass quite well from playing in a couple of minor bands and some drumming.
Classical piano, cello and singing. Saying I play the guitar (acoustic) would be optimistic at best

Electric bass to a reasonable standard. Mostly fingerstyle stuff, with some slap.
Keyboards. Synthesizers and rock organ. Not great, but good enough to have fun. Deep Purple and Floyd mostly. Terrible left hand base line but my right hand is like lightning. ~:smoking:

Tuba in the school band...
Classical piano, trumpet, flute, and a little, very very small bit of string music/instrument
guitar(acoustic, that I got free from my grandma's attic not like I'm gonna buy an electric or an amp)
and I'm pretty good on the harmonica, but only have a C, so playing stuff in A sounds kinda strange, but who cares.
And when I jam with friends I got pretty low pipes so I do some JLH "boom boom, haw haw" stuff.
not many musicians over here!?

I play can play some Dylan, but also some harder stuff like Neil or the Dead. I try and stick to easy strumming stuff without power chords because I can never get it to sound nice on my aucostic. So mainly a few chord sort of stuff, though my guitar teacher is helping me expand my style and strech out to more complecated stuff.
It's not that I dislike the electric, I just don't have one. Next year for my birthday I'm gonna get a nice electric hollow body.
Electric guitar..a strat copy though a Marshall mg, supplemented by an E.H Double Muff, if anyone's interested.

I'm a drummer but haven't drummed in months. I need to get back on the kit with some pantera or Slayer blasting in my ears

I play the stereo, Windows Media Player and LimeWire Pro. ~;) I did try to learn the piano once, but frnaly I just found it very uninspiring.

cool, powerchords don't sound that good as on a acuostic guitar as they do on an electric but I think if played a bit gently (can't find a better word) and controlled they sound okay (it's usually the E which does it, i think).
I usually play some hardrock or some 90's rock (everybody knows them and can sing a long) and a few classics.
I seemed wrong, there are more musicians than I tough...so who more plays music
I play the stereo, Windows Media Player and LimeWire Pro
I usually play WMP, winamp,...
don't like Limewire to play music.

Guitars. Acoustic and electric ones. Bass too. Got all rusty now, left hand has the elegance of a sledge hammer, but my right hand is faster then lightning too. ~:smoking:
And I don’t have to tell it “I love you” or anything…
…ooops…
trumpet and keyboard. But the keyboard is just to mess around with chord structure and make techno (most of which is done on the computer).

Electric and acoustic guitar though lately i dont have much time. My bro is sound engineer so we collectively have 8 guitars (1 classic, 2 acoustic, 5 electrics) and 2 big amplifiers, along with midi keyboards and many effects and pedals. If we continue like this we will have to leave the room to the instruments. Basically I play metal but also alot of rock-hard rock stuff. My bro is also very fond of nu-metal stuff, Im more old fashioned.
A bit of guitar and keyboard. Just playing for fun and sing-alongs though.
Since RTW my right hand also becomes "lightning" as well. click/rightclick
