when did this happen? I had no idea untill like just now, when they showed her funeral on TV, where the hell was I? Who is ruling England now? Wow im so not up to date on all things English

oh do you mean the Queen "Mother"?, coz if the queen was dead, there would be no programming in Australia. the queen mother died a fair while ago now.
i wouldn't even be able to see the cricket.

Yes, if HM the Queen had passed away, all broadcasting in the United Kingdom and her dominions and a great many nations besides would be stopped with news of her death and of Prince Charles' accession. If HM the Queen died you would be compelled by the powers that be to notice.

ah what exactly is queen "mother", I must have gotten confused, all I saw was a replay of a giant funeral, from what looked like england, with the caption "the queen is dead". I was thinking "you would think this would be plastered on more than just this channel." {public access broadcasting}

the queen mother is exactly what it says..., the queen of englands mummy.
it definately wasn't england, it might have been some other insignificant nation, like sweden :p but it definately wasn't england.

Does it really matter? I mean the throne isn't doesn't really seem important to me. Though I may just be an ignorant American, not understanding the importance of the British throne.

I dunno much about prince charels besides the fact I don't want him in power, I've heard various stories concerning him. That and no offence to the brits here that like him, but he seems like the type of jackass that may get us into WWIII, which we don't friggin' need. Of course this is based basicly off of stories I don't quite remember and pictures of him, so...yeah some concrete evidence if ya ask me :dizzy2:
