Avatar Help

Can I get a custom one? I don't know how though. Could some one walk me through it?

So, the more posts you post, the more options for avatars there is? Am I right in prasuming this?

Yep. Click the Show Avatars button on your Control Panel at the top of the page.

It's image heavy, but if you read, it'll tell you what sort of avatars are available and when.

Greek Generals at 400 posts, Roman Generals at 600 posts. I think Roman Diplomats are 100 posts. All sorts to choose from. I haven't even looked at MTW.

You guys should talk to a mod/admin 'cos I don't really know the details.

You have a Url avatar. This won't be seen next to your posts, but will be seen when your profile is viewed. You can use this now (maybe not junior members) and upload any picture you want. But custom avatars may be introduced and these would be seen next to your posts.

If custom avatars were to be introduced, you would be able to upload your own avatars.

Url avatars do show up next to your posts like a normal avatar to everyone that has the 'Enable Url Avatars' option turned on in the User CP. ~:)

Currently there is no standard custom avatar system in place. There were plans for a remote-linked (url) avatar system but they've been shelved until after we upgrade to the new board software. Other than a couple of members who were used to test the syste, your url avatar is just your board one.

To see the url avatars, go to UserCP/Edit Options (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/profile.php?do=editoptions), and check the Display Url Avatar box. If you don't want to see both url and board avatars, you should then disable Show Avatars in the Visible Post Elements box. Then go the thread Craterus mentions in post 2, and look at Uesugi Kenshin and TosaInu's avatars.
