Good and fair article. Sums up my limited opinion of budding superpowers quite nicely.

Yep, I agree...I'd like to be reassured on the EU reform bit...red tape is literally killing buisness in some areas to my knowledge. Though yes, the ''bra wars'' are blatantly daft

India's going to do well, maybe China.

America and Europe are going to be on top for a long time though... Hopefully as long as I'm around.

Hello hello, fellow pinko-liberal sociocomnunist baby-killer. Had a nice holiday?

I have been having a pro longed absence from the .org for multiple reasons, I might pop my head in every now and then from now on but I can't see it being any more than that anymore. Hello though, nice to see you :)

I probably should make a comment on the topic - I think India and China becoming superpowers and challenging the US hegemony can only be a good thing and if Europe unites and uses the new possibilities on offer form this, we too can make our own area much safer, stronger and far more prosperous for everyone. It has been far too long in coming, keep on with the reforms China.

here, here! Let China become a superpower, and the US might wake up to reality one day and find itself confronted with a big bully next door threatening to steal his pocket money. Perhaps some good relations with China and we could negotiate Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories back to us. China becoming a superpower would certainly let Europe do better, since US businesses might have less of a monopoly on various things.
