They've just changed the system so that junior members (like yourself) can only post in the 'New Members' section. The purpose of this is to try to stop potential troublemakers (which I'm sure you're not) from spamming other forums. Just keep posting constructively in this section and you should become a member pretty soon (it's not based on post count, it's based on being polite and posting fairly regularly). When you become a member you can post in the other forums too.

Edit: Ah, I see you've posted a new thread about it already with plenty of answers there.
