View Full Version : What was the oldest age of your family members ?
What was the oldest age of one of your family members in RTW i was amazed that one of my current governers is age 89 the average life expentecy during that time period was only in the mid 50's and some lucky cases late 60's so is this a bug or how old can he get.
I will be amazed if he reaches 100 years old
here is a pic of my governer he is really 89 now it says 88 thats when I got the screen shot well anyways here it is...

wow. havnt seen anyone that old before. My most senior is about 75 or something.
I think his key for long and happy life is trait - Aggressively perverse ~:)
~ Wow, he´s really ancient, I´m almost surprised he didn´t get the title of "Immortalis".
My oldest memers always expire somewhere in the seventies.

Thus, the age seemed to be cycled after 128 years! Dutch of CA remarked at the same thread that “is he dead yet?” checks start at the age of 65, thus the faction leader survived 62 years of checks, then was eventually looped back to 0 year old for another 65 years before the series of checks continue.

Had one roman dude reach 101 years once. Have had frequent guys around 70-80 and a couple between 80-100.

Amulius Brutus was the oldest for me. Even his son Cassius died of natural causes before him. He died at the age of 95.

He went on to the ripe old age of 114, outliving his 2 sons in the process. If only I'd known about the 128 'feature', I'd have willed him on for another 28 turns...

Amulius the powerful - 120 years old when finished the Brutii campaign.
... but beeing honest I recalled him from death (replaying the turn) a couple of times.
I was doing that with him to prove the same Aesculapius quoted from Quietus. With the other members I guess 89 has been the older.

Oldest i had was 72.All my family members are field men who only spend times in the cities after they conquer them or when i want them to pick up retainers from academies. The hard life they leave must contribute to them dying younger than other players family members. ~:)
In my most recent campaign (rtr 6.0) the Ptolemies have numerous family members in their late eighties and early ninthies who just wont die.My Parthian Generals all die off at around 65 years of age.
how come it said 1 of my guys on my family tree "died tragicly" was he murderd? he never fought in any wars he was a governer I have a feeling the scipios assasinated him cause he was to powerfull.
iv had a spy that was 90, but im sure iv never seen anyone live past 92.
