Ho hum. So I heard this song on the radio during my lunch break at work, and I'd like to hear it again simply for the sake of morbid curiosity. But I've no idea what it was called or who it was by. :blankg:
Disclaimer: the frog generally lingers a few centuries behind in music; she has no idea at all about modern music, unless it's John Williams type orchestral. It wasn't me listening to the radio, it was a colleague; radio 1 is not a frog's type of music.
The clues:
-It was on Radio 1, and I'm in England.
-It was on between 1 and 2 PM sometime last week, about Saturday, IIRC. I've been ill since then, hence both the delayed asking and the fuzzy memory. Fevers are not a frog's best friend.
-It was sung by a man. Not a very deep voice, or a very high one, or anything usefully odd.
-The only wording I could decipher sounded like "going to take this night and make it last forever" But don't trust that - I can't understand a word anyone says when singing with any degree of reliability. I searched google for those words, and the only lyrics I found which seemed right were these (http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/girlsaloud/foreveranight.html). But since this is supposedly sung by Girls aloud something is not quite right. But those are maybe the right lyrics, just the wrong group. However, I've not managed to find anything about anyone doing their own version of this song. It was certainly a mushy song. Which is interesting, being as I hate mushy music, modern music, pop music, things with drums, and anything which requires me to attempt to decipher singing.
-For once it didn't sound like a load of drums falling down some steep stairs. The singer wasn't drowned out either. That's as much as I can comment on the music itself.
Good luck. :gring:
