Skinning

Ok in preparation for my new mod ive decided i have to learn to model and to skin. Ive found out how to model ( im no expert but practise makes perfect i guess) and have just started skinning using Photoshop.I found that even something like changing the skin colour was taking a very long time. And i was wondering is their a way to speed up the skinning process or use another programm to skin with?

Photoshop is the best. Its all a matter of practice. Ive also done some minor skinning. I used an existing skin as reference as just followed the "cloth" pattern to get the right look. Its all about practice really...
