I've been a driver for about 4 years, and I've been driving this 1996 Cutlass Supreme sedan for about 3 of them. It gets me where I want to go, and suits me perfectly from a functionality standpoint.

However, I've begun to suspect that people are passing me just for the hell of it. Trucks, coupes, other sedans, all types of cars can't stand to be behind me. I drive about 5-7 MPH above the speed limit, and I do get careful in areas normally scoped by the police. I don't think that is abnormally slow, so I'm wondering if they're disrespecting my car. What do you guys think of it?

I'm sorry, but it wouldn't let me add a Gah! option....

Its plain for my tastes but I dont see anything wrong with it.. just another car.

I dont see why anyone would pass a car just because they dont like the make or model.. ~

Are you going generally slower than the rest of traffic?

5-7mph above the speed limit would get you honked at where i live at any speed limit above 35, and you would most assuredly be passed.

If you are happy with it, where you are going, and the speed you are doing to get there, who cares what anyone else thinks?

BUT, look at that picture very carefully my friends. Notice anything unusual? No? Well, the background is blurred, right? As if the photographer has taken a panning shot of a moving car? yeah yeah, I hear you say, so what?

Here's what. WHERE IS THE DRIVER????

Kongamoto are you the invisible man by any chance? Cos that could explain why people want to get the hell away from you...

I perfer a 69 Fleetwood, but it's not a bad ride.

You gotta go at least 20 mph over the limit to not get passed on a regular basis.

Yes, but he lives in Michigan which seems to have agressive drivers and high speed limits. Trust me, I know. *Points to Location*

Btw: Kongamoto, you live around Michigan State? I am currently applying there :P.

Maybe a new paintjob would spice it up a bit... the colour is quite dull, other than that it's a cool car.

I said 4. I've been seeing alot of illegal immigrants in vehicles similar to this lately.

But if it runs well, then who cares?

But when I pass you, just know that I am calling INS at the same time. ~D

its very far from sleek, and thatr may be a problem, if i saw it on the road i would expect it to be going slow as it has an older car kind of look. could be worse, i say paint it a aqua blue and racing stripes W00T
