Sorry for repetition if this has been asked before: Is it possible to make new structures and weapons? And is it possible to make 3d-weapons mobile? What I'm getting at with this is that it would be useful to have siege towers etc (I have no experience in TW modding so I'm just asking out of curiosity).

The troopers are actually 2D images. Anybody could paint new ones with a little skill.

The buildings used in the game look like 3D buildings though.

I knew that much. 3d models are in the /Eastern European, /Islamic, /Southern European and /Western European folders under the /models folder. Houses consist of .3XX and .TXX and moving objects of more files. What I meant was, is there a way to create these object types with some convertor for .3ds files, for example?

ive looked for a txx convertor myself... i havent found one.. txx is an extension that is soley used by activision. maybe you could contact the game designers and preview your art to them... if they like it maybe they will convert it for you... im sure the converting is a simple quick process... the design is the hard part. just a thought ...but i would ask first before i spent alot of time making nice graphics for no reason http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

So you can actually add all new units to MTW? Like if I wanted to add Thirty Years War/English Civil War units I could? Could anyone tell me how to?

Thanks,
