can brigands be turned off??

is there a chance to change the randomly turning up tiny brigand armys all over the map?

can the appearence time/chance be influenced or at least is there a chance to turn them completly off?

i´m tired of hunting down this popping up brigands every single turn

especially when your empire is already pretty large it sucks that much

does anybody know what to do ?

They can't be eliminated but you can take away all their units by removing ownership of any units which say slave or rebel under ownership in export_descr_units.txt in DATA of your RTW directory. Only problem is that if the game starts with these rebels included for these factions it will CTD. Remove all but warbands and peasants and it'll be fine, because the battles will be effortless and small. There is also a way to tone down the number of units a rebel faction can have/ how agressive they are, but you'll have to look around the forum because I can't remember (I'm more a modeller than a modder)
