I have many.
My favourite is the .Org and the Strat Command Center(the site is sooo damn awesome! The Modding Academy idea is superb!!!).
Second is TWC.
Third, the Total Rome and RTR forums.
Last place, the .Com
(note: the Imperium forum is #1 because they host our mod)

I think this site has always provided great support for the TW community but when the MP bug bit I did used to enjoy the banter at the .Net immensly.
I visit a few but my favourite is the .org

The .org. I don't post on any other TW forum
The overall atmosphere of the .org is likely better, in my opinion. However, I prefer the organisation of the mods section at TWC, but their system of hierarchy is sometimes a bit exasperating as a few people take it way too seriously.

The Org.
When I was infatuated with MTW I joined this forum and became likewise in my affection for this place and the patrons therein. When RTW was slated to be delivered to our greedy hands I found that TWC had more information at a faster rate, more mods for the demo and more up to date information. I split between the main forum, the Org and TWC. The Org for strategy and in depth, meaningful conversation and the others for more up to date and frivolous information. However, after the spurt of enthusiasm for new merchandise had faded and I looked for true perception, I turned to the Org soley but found the majority of those who had once graced these hallowed halls to be no longer in attendance.

i always loved the indepth and highly intelligent discussions that could only be found at TWC, which is why i post primarily over there, but i always hung around the Org for its ace modding community, and game info hints and tips.
TWC all the way!

Please keep replies civil and do not bash other sites or fora.
As for me, The Org, cause that's where I get paid.

Yep. It's gotta be the Org. Where else can I talk about my camels all the time without getting strange looks?
(What?! Why are you staring at me like that? ~D)
The Org. It's the only forum I visit on a daily basis.

Only been here and fully satisfied.
The first girl stays special whatever happens next, anyway...

But it definitely has to be the .org; I find the moderators and admins much nicer, efficient, and humourous than at other TW forums. Not to mention the clean and friendly atmosphere here.

Yeah, the Org rocks. twcenter.net seems to be falling into decay. however, the main page of the org could seriously do with a makeover and a little fixing with the images. that top logo should seriously be shrunken down. Otherwise, the best tw site!
This forum would have to be it, its just great.

yeah! TWC woot! looks like we are alone though...*looks around at angry mob of people with pitchforks*
I like the .Org, I even joined here first (probably the first to download the EB open beta) too, but I settled at TWC.

Where do you get that idea? Most people think TWC is in the ascendancy...:2thumbsup:

TWC has it's many merits, this includes it's rather large common community, the general freedom that members have in their moderator and administrator choices, the elitism that is set up there with it's distinct classification that is unique to that site and the large number of modifications and the aid that they can get from the modders.
TW.org on the other hand has an older and more advanced community with the good old "veterans" which remember the days of classical Total War. This helps contribute well to comparisons between the next generation of more RTS style TW games and the older type, the classical M:TW and S:TW. Another thing which is interesting about the Org is the ranking system, or more to the point, the lack of it! The system is wonderfully simplistic which enables a visitor to the site, at a quick glance, work out what sort of people the fellow they are looking at actually is rather than having to do a little research first.
Each site is equally good in their own regards, and rather than comparing them, we should focus on celebrating their differences, their individuality and the complex and inquisitive characters that make up each one's excellent and diverse community.

I think this sums it up quite well.
