Mtw Vi online probs

When i got vi up and running and connected to the online room (v2.1) there was horrible lagg everywhere. no one else had it but me. i played a game whole thing lagged again. but no one else had lagg. i relogged and rebooted my computer but still the same. Any one ever had this and found a solution?? ~:confused: ~:confused:

I was just wondering if it might be due to very aggressive virus-scan or firewall s/w being a bit heavy handed on all the data traffic to/from your machine?

Also beware that some Internet Service Providers insist on putting a firewall between you and the rest of the internet. You may need to ring them up and ask for the port-forwarding required to make the game work. Arkell had this very problem but one quick call to BT and he could host with no problems.
