Remeber when you were off at college? Good. Remeber the dorm food?
How was it, and what did they serve? And anything else you feel completed to share about it.
Here, at Hendrick House, the dorm food is fit for eating. The eggs are terrible, but I eat them anyway. The baccon is supposedly great, excpt I don't eat it. Far too often they are out of orange juice. And the jeely donuts they once served had too little jelly. But they have a machine that serves frozen yogurt, and once a week they serve real ice cream!
So, comments on your dorm food?

As an undergrad my university cafeteria did great greasy bacon/pork sausage buns: great for hangovers. Get a cup of sweet tea to go with it.
:2thumbsup:
Edit: my current uni is crap for food. Bah

My college only has food at certain dining halls, all located across campus. The food is overpriced and bad (relative to the price). Sometimes the soda was cold (right out of the machine) in the dining halls.
But, when my dorm has free BBQs, the food is usually pretty good.

God, how dare you remind me! ~;)
Literally is was chips with anything that has a 99% fat ratio...really disgusting. I put on about 1 and a half stone in 9 months from 1 evening meal every weekday and 1 sunday lunch a week and i had to eat it as id already paid something like £800 for the "privledge" :furious3:
On the rare occasion they did make nice lasagne but it dissappeared so quickly only 25% of the students got a chance to eat it!

Well I haven't gone to college yet but I have still managed to sample the dorm food at two colleges for a decent period of time each.
Bentley College: I went to a forensics camp there which lasted 10 days, they had lectures and such. The food was decent, although some of it was pretty nasty and the salad was just about all iceberg lettuce. Much better than the "food" they make us eat at my high school though.
Bennington College: I worked there over the summer, 40 hours a week; lunch at the "Snack Bar" most days (no cafeteria food for housekeepers on weekdays) and when I had to work weekends they would give us breakfast and lunch, or a single brunch for free. The food at the snack bar was pretty good, good sanwiches, burritos and a lot of other food, all of it of good quality. In the dining hall (there's only one) the food was pretty good, although they served some nasty cheese covered, bagel type dish with a marginal cheese and a bad combination a couple of times the food was pretty good with the above complaints.
In self-catered - so it was mostly all the takeaways I could get my mitts on the bright-coloured leaflets of...
