have you guys heard that rebels will group together to form their own factions in BI and that if your loyalty of your generals gets too low (when you are playing as rome) they will break away takeing settlements with them, starting up a new faction
Also will you be increasing upkeep on armys, in vanilla rome and RTR they are way too cheap, if they were more expensive it would force the player to use less elites, and with less armys about the place, there would be more room for tactics.

I have heard that they are raising unit support costs, so that should be a yes.
Edited- apparently, I was on dangerous ground.
Dangerous ground there, meatwad.

EB has entirely overhauled the economic model, so it not just a case of upping the army upkeep. However, Khelvan has announced that maintaining elite troops will be prohibitively expensive.

Good, its just too tempting to build armys made up entirely of elites

I agree BM, we shouldn't be able to push them out that easily. It should take a little straining on our part. Not to the point of pain, but it should be quite an effort to create a unit that comes out hard.
indeed. Elites should be expensive to maintain, but also compensate enough for it to make them worth it.

yeh it was all too tempting while germans to just pump out night raider/ gothic cavalry or watever they were called and just mass rout all enemy armies after about 2 seconds
