What's your favourite/most hated smiley?

What's everyone's favourite smileys and what do you think it's supposed to mean? And what's everybody's hated smileys and what do you think they're saying?

My fav: ~D It is the generic statement of "hey, look, I'm smiling!!!"

and :bow: Because I look Asian :)

My most hated one: ~:rolleyes: This one always get on my nerves when someone uses it. It's like "oh, you're sooooo stupid/I'm getting tired of this..."

I find ~:grouphug: the most useful when posting in overwrought threads. I use as an expression of goodwill and to foster community spirit.

But my favorite is probably :coffeenews:. When AdrianII uses it in one of his urbane posts in the backroom, I somehow feel it's like watching him through a webcam. [I confess I don't really know what it means - may be someone can explain?]

~D is my favorite too. Probably because I try to take a laid-back attitude in life, as a counter to my rather serious temper.

It is so flexible - not only can it mean "reading a book", it can mean "curious", "scared", "confused" and variations on those.
