Strat Map Making, need help!

I have decided on a new map for my MTW, as i thought it time for change.

Now i have my modded game, as per i did it 2 to 3 years ago.

Now do you think i can remember how i did it ffs!

Now i have read all the bits on map making here, :book: but they don't seem to make the sense i made of it all that time ago. :embarassed:
Can someone please!!! Give me a quick run down on how to go about making my new map. :dizzy2:
